Danays Bautista is a Cuban singer, guitar player, songwriter, arranger and band leader. She graduated as a professional musician with a major in guitar from Ignacio Cervantes conservatory in 1995. Since then, her career has evolved between Cuba, Spain and The United States. Throughout this time, she has been leading her band and collaborating in multiple projects as vocalist, guitar player and producer. She has recorded various albums. In 2017 she shared a nomination for the Latin Grammy Award with the album Piango Piango by Cuban Jazz Quartet. In 2013 she was nominated with the album Danays Bautista Quintet Live for the Cubadisco Award. Danays has always been passionate about audio production and technology applied to the creation of music. She has experience in the use of software such as Adobe Audition and Sound Forge among others on Windows as well as Apple Mac OS. She completed the training on Pro Tools offered by the company I See Music and is now ready to share her passion and knowledge as part of the I See Music team.
